Law firms, before and after a client workspace
Clients often ask who will buy the patent. Firms are counsel, not brokers. The workspace prepares listings and suggested companies. You stay responsible for legal advice.
Why firms are asked to find buyers
Clients ask who will buy this, and firms are not brokers.
Open IP Market does not find buyers for you or for the client. Target search returns AI-suggested companies, not confirmed purchasers.
Commercialization prep is slow next to legal work.
Drafting a listing and gathering a company list competes with billable matters. Preview and paid slots are meant to produce those drafts so counsel can review them.
There is no client-ready workspace for listings and outreach drafts.
Either the client or the firm can hold the account. The account holder controls listings, billing, and collaborators.
What counsel and clients can run here
The client or firm account runs a preview or paid slot.
Preview: listing and documents, 2 searches, up to 15 suggested companies each, no publish. Paid slot: ₹9,999 per year, publish, outreach, 100 AI credits.
Attorney review remains required for legal decisions.
Evaluation and listings are not legal opinions. The firm remains counsel. The platform does not practice law.
Optional referral credits when a referred user activates a paid slot.
Rewards are AI credits on first paid slot (20 for the referrer, 10 for the referee, cap 5 per cycle). There is no cash or UPI payout.

What this is, and is not
Does this replace legal advice?
No. Open IP Market does not provide legal advice. Evaluation is structured due diligence, not a formal legal opinion. Attorney review remains required before a client relies on any output.
Can we earn cash for referrals?
No. The referral program awards AI credits on first paid slot activation, not cash or UPI payouts. Referrer 20 credits, referee 10 credits, cap 5 referred activations per cycle.
Who should hold the account?
Either the client or the firm can hold the account. The account holder controls listings, billing, and collaborators. Choose whoever should own the workspace record and invoices.
Do you find buyers for our clients?
No. Open IP Market is not a broker. Target search suggests companies that could license or acquire the technology. They are not confirmed buyers. Deals happen off-platform between the parties.
Where do deals close?
Off-platform. The product prepares listings, documents, and suggested companies. It does not negotiate, escrow, or close a license or assignment. Counsel and the client handle agreements separately.
