Inventors, before and after a preview

Most patents stall because outreach has no starting point. A preview gives you a listing, documents, and two company searches so you can see the workflow before you pay.

Why inventors stall on commercialization

  • You do not know which companies to approach.

A granted patent does not come with a buyer list. Searching by industry name by hand is slow and easy to get wrong.

  • Brokers take a large cut of any deal.

Open IP Market is not a broker. You keep ownership. If a deal happens, it is between you and the other party, off-platform.

  • Documents and outreach take months to assemble by hand.

Business-facing listings and drafts usually sit in folders until someone has time. The preview is meant to produce those artifacts from the patent file.

What inventors can do in the 30-day preview

  • A preview listing and preview documents from your patent.

You upload the document and generate a listing plus supporting drafts. They stay in preview. You cannot publish them to the marketplace yet.

  • Two target searches of up to 15 AI-suggested companies each.

The cap is searches, not company count. Suggested companies are not confirmed buyers or licensees. Open IP Market does not guarantee leads or deals.

  • Upgrade to a paid slot to publish and run outreach.

A paid slot is ₹9,999 per year for one patent. It unlocks publishing, unlimited target searches, outreach, and 100 AI credits.

What this is, and is not

What is included in the free preview?

New accounts get a 30-day preview slot. You can upload a patent, generate a listing and document preview, and run 2 target searches (up to 15 AI-suggested companies each). You cannot publish on preview. Suggested companies are not confirmed buyers or licensees.

Is Open IP Market a patent broker?

No. Open IP Market is SaaS for listings, documents, and suggested companies. We do not find buyers for you, take a cut of a deal, or close transactions. You keep ownership. Deals happen off-platform between you and the other party.

Can I run patent evaluation on preview?

No. Patent evaluation runs on paid slots only. Each run uses 2 AI credits. It is beta structured due diligence, not legal advice and not a formal valuation.

Will I lose ownership of my patent?

No. Uploading a patent or using the preview does not transfer ownership. You keep control of your IP unless you later sign an assignment, sale, or licensing agreement with another party.

What happens after 30 days?

Publishing, outreach, and the full AI suite stay behind a paid slot (₹9,999 per slot per year). Your account remains, so you can upgrade and continue from the listing and searches you already ran in preview.
